Nice Matters

My dear friend Paula nominated me. She is passing on her niceness to eight, other bloggers.
This award is for bloggers that are nice. (I guess she didn't consult my kids when choosing me!) :)
Thinking of Heather, I went to my synonym finder to look up all the different words for nice. But it was too long to type out, so if your interested in all the wonderful ways to say the word nice, go here.
But here are just a few:
OK, admirable, agreeable, amiable, approved, attractive, becoming, charming, commendable, considerate, copacetic, cordial, courteous, cultured, decorous, delightful, ducky, favorable, friendly, gasser, genial, gentle, good, gracious, groovy, helpful, hunky-dory, ingratiating, inviting, kind, kindly, lovely, neato, nifty*, obliging, peachy*, phat, pleasant, pleasurable, polite, prepossessing, seemly, simpatico, superior, swell, unpresumptuous, welcome, well-mannered, winning, winsome

When you go see who I nominated, and who nominated me, look for these great attributes in these ladies!

I nominate:
Jan, Megan, Mel, Supermom, Carmen, Carrie, Niki, and Barbara

I get so much encouragement from all these lovely ladies! IMHO, we don't have enough people out there encouraging us along the way. May you find laughter, kindness, and assistance for your journey.

If you get a chance take a look at my new Wednesday site.

Tonya,

Thank you for the personal email about my being encouraging. That comment convinces me there is a God. The abbreviated version is that about 11 or 12 years ago I was in need of encouragement, and the Lord brought to mind Matthew 7:12--Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I prayed for Him to show me how to become an encourager because I wasn't. I was nauseatingly competetive and just obnoxious. He answered my prayer in so many incredible ways to the point that I have had the opportunity to teach people how to be encouragers at homeschool groups, women's retreats, women's breakfasts, and in classes. I am forever amazed how God can take our empty jars and fill them to overflowing when we are willing to give what we have, even when it is so very little.

Thank you for your precious comment. When I read it, the Lord lovingly used it to remind me that He is my Provider. He is my Source of everything.

Thank you for being His voice, and thank you for seeing with His eyes and showing us the pictures so we see His heart. Your pictures are amazing.

All afternoon, I've just been trying to come up with something to say. It rarely, rarely happens but I am speachless.

You've toched my heart in an amazing way. I can't believe I've only known you for a few months. The first time I met you was when you were praying for someone.I saw your beautiful heart and I decided I wanted you for a friend. I thank God for the treasure of your friendship.

Jan and Jerri,
I think we all feel amazed to be honored. And looking at other blogs, most of us don't feel that kind. It reminds me of Proverbs 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold
In settings of silver.
That is how I feel by both of your kind and comments.
